ONTARIO, Calif. – August 18, 2016 — The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) today announced the appointment of Jeff Reynolds as its first Chief Financial Officer. Reynolds has extensive experience in airport management, finance and international business development.

The OIAA, a joint powers agency formed by the City of Ontario and the County of San Bernardino, is on track to assume ownership and control of Ontario International Airport (ONT) in the fourth quarter of 2016, subject to final Federal Aviation Administration approval.

“Jeff Reynold’s deep and broad finance, management and aviation experience will help us build the vibrant airport that this region needs and deserves,” said OIAA President and Ontario City Council Member Alan D. Wapner. “With deep roots in Southern California, he has a thorough understanding of the dynamics of the area’s economy and the tremendous built-up passenger and cargo demand in the Inland Empire.”

OIAA Chief Executive Officer Kelly J. Fredericks, P.E., A.A.E. said, “Jeff is a seasoned, versatile CFO with significant airports and international business development experience. His unique skill set, vast industry background and relationships, and proven work ethic, makes him the ideal person to lead and oversee all financial aspects of Ontario International Airport.”

Reynolds has more than 20 years of experience in U.S. and international airport management, finance, concessions, business development, reporting and underwriting.

“I am delighted to be joining OIAA and working with the team as the airport transitions to an independent body. With increased focus, I believe ONT will do its part of ensure Southern California has the needed airport capacity to meet the increasing demand for air travel,” said Reynolds.

Reynolds most recently was an aviation financial advisor after serving as president and CEO of HAS Development Corp., a non-profit Houston-based corporation specializing in training, technical services consulting and advisory services in the airport and aviation sectors. Prior to that, he was vice president of assets and acquisitions for the Abu Dhabi Airports Company, which manages five airports in the United Arab Emirates.

Additionally, he has served as director for PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities in Los Angeles; project finance director for the Glendale, Calif.-based Airport Group International; and director of Citibank’s Corporate Structured Finance Unit in Los Angeles and London.

Reynolds has a Masters of Business Administration from USC and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from UCLA. He lives in Tustin, Calif.

About the Ontario International Airport Authority — The City of Ontario and San Bernardino County formed the OIAA in August 2012 by enacting a Joint Powers Agreement. The OIAA provides overall direction for the management, operations, development and marketing of ONT for the benefit of the Southern California economy and the residents of the airport’s four-county catchment area. Commissioners are Ontario Council Member Alan D. About Ontario International Airport — ONT is located in the Inland Empire, approximately 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in the center of Southern California. It is a medium-hub, full-service airport with direct commercial jet service to 14 U.S. and Mexico cities. There are 61 daily departures offered by seven air carriers. ONT’s service area includes a population of six million in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, and portions of Orange and Los Angeles counties. It currently is operated by Los Angeles World Airports, a City of Los Angeles agency also operating Los Angeles International and Van Nuys airports.
